This week was freaking ridiculous

Aside from feeling overworked, tired, and ultra-stressed, I'm rather sad during this midterm period. The reason why is because it's ALREADY midterms! Midterms of the spring semester no less. My first year of college is almost over...

Even with all the bad, foolishness that's happened to me and in general, I absolutely love this year, this place, this part of my life and I don't want my first year to end. I've met so many different people, had so many new experiences, done so much. This year ending also means that next semester my friends are all moving out of dorms and into apartments and such, that's the downside to having friends that are a year or so ahead of you/ friends who are also freshmen that just wanna move out and move on.

Anyway, enough of this and back to studying. I have a huge midterm on Wednesday. Thursday is my 'midterm' for Tai Chi (he's going to evaluate how well we're doing our form and we're taking a short quiz). I'm going to practice up a bit this weekend for it.

Also, on Saturday I plan on watching a martial arts exhibition with some friends. Next weekend, a few more tests and then it's spring break. It can't come soon enough.

Kongregate will steal hours of your life

Anyway, things have been looking up for me overall after my incident that happened last month that involved me getting a concussion. Moved on from that, have my laptop, finally got around to cleaning the room (although I should probably do it again), and I'm all around happier. Went on a date over the weekend, and I'd say that it was pretty good. It's amazing how ridiculously shy I can be on a date (well first ones at least...), plus I was ridiculously tired and was dangerously close to falling asleep.

In the meantime, I've been a bit bogged down with work, for I had a lot that was due today. Everything got turned in and it's all looking okay. ^.^ I also did well on my test and essay for Spanish, so yay! All stress is down for the time being.

Now I have NOTHING TO DO!!!!! I'm so bored *pouts* And Kongregate isn't entertaining me at all. I hope someone signs on so I can multiplayer or skype chat or...something. Geez...

Alas, what do you do when there is no work and nothing fun to play? Clean your room...

Sucks right now

Ok so right now I'm on a special time, thus I feel like crap all the time and have to take a series of naps instead of sleeping once for a long period of time. Good thing is I don't feel fatigued or anything.

Thus far, my healthier eating plan's working out pretty well as well as the working out a bit more. Not trying to lose weight, just doing it to keep my health up. Only my knew problem is winter weather and falling down.

This week I have two tests: Spanish S280 Monday at 6:50 pm (feeling pretty good about that) and Poly Sci 200 Globalization in Long Term (our entire grade for the course is based on 3 tests and this is the first one, so I'm a bit more uptight about that one). I've been redoing my reading for both of these classes and took notes via new laptop. I LOVE THIS LAPTOP! So everything, I'm feeling, is working out pretty well.

Meantimes, I wanna go home! I was supposed to go home 2 weekends ago, but alas, weather said it was gunna get bad. Last weekend, my ride fell through. This weekend is supposed to be the one though. When I get home I'm going to do my hair, catch up on some of my favorite foods, and hangout a lot with my grandma. I'll also get a couple of packs of Pepsi and Dr. Pepper and a box of Cap'n Crunch when I'm there.

But once again, IT'S SNOWING LIKE MADNESS OUTSIDE.

Now don't get me wrong with what about to say, but I just can't stand being outside in winter weather. I want it to either 1. stop now or 2. snow like crazy and we get a snow day (which takes a heck of a lot more effort on the weather's part to make it be a college snow day, so I want it to really do it big) Seriously, I don't want any of this halfway bad crap, make it BAAAAAAAAD. I have all the food I need inside, with my hot chocolate and stuff. Only thing I need to get is a pack of batteries cus my mouse is crapping out a bit, but I could always walk up and down the hall and do some begging.

In my personal life, things are pretty much okay. Met a really cool guy the other day, don't thing that's going to go anywhere, but whatever. It's just good to meet nice people every now and then. In the meantime, the guy I like is elusive as ever. Why do you always look at me like 'I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF YOU, I WANNA KISS YOU' then just o_O get all unreliable and blow me off. Just ugh with that. Not that that's that big of a deal, I kinda like someone in my one class but that's okay too, not going to say too much about that tho, person might read it cus we're in the class that tells us to make blogs in the first place.

Oh got the DLC for Borderlands, I'm loving it. Dr. Ned's Zombie Island's fun, I like the missions, and who can turn down blowing up hordes of zombies? The Mad Moxxi one is INSANE though. It's basically a gladiator tournament against a bunch of enemies. 5 rounds, 5 waves per round, and each wave has a 'special' thing about it. One wave, I had no shields, another made it so that my sniper rifle was more powerful and all my other ones were then made weaker on top of that. I was playing as a Soldier (Roland) and I hadn't really used my sniper rifle much on him, so my proficiency was level 8, where as on my Hunter (Mordecai)'s sniper proficiency was 28, so I was having regrets on going in as my Soldier lol. And alas, everyone is level 50 and higher, and they just don't stop coming! Fun though, super frustrating as well.

Enough ranting, I don't think I have much else to say now.

Waiting to open my box

Ever since the end of last semester, I have been without a computer down here. Yes, not having a computer is like academic suicide, especially considering one of my classes pretty much requires that I sit around and check my email constantly. At long last, my box has arrived. New problem: picking that mother up! I checked my mail at 11 today, just from being so antsy since my email told me it was already dropped off here. Mail room doesn't open until 12, and that's only if lazy people aren't working today. So I've been waiting around for someone to go with me so I won't drop it. Then tonight I plan on setting up my laptop, going through the never ending steps to setting up IU Secure on it, and then take it home with me.

*heartbreak* My ride home for the weekend fell through due to predictions of crap weather tomorrow. WHY!!!!!!!!! I WANNA GO HOME!!!!!!!! *shakes fist* Why can't our winter weather stay non-wintery!

Another point that's on my mind at the moment, I officially no longer trust food at Wright. The other day I experienced for the 3rd time food poisoning. It's a horrible feeling for every part of your body, believe me.

Final thoughts: damn heavy boxes, damn weather, damn sketchy food preparations

Today's schedule was Poly Sci 100 (9:30-10:45); Poly Sci 200 (1-2:15); Tai Chi (5:35-6:35); Spanish S280 (6:50-7:40)

Night classes, feel great until you're walking back *shivers*

Getting it going

So I decided to set up the blog right now. Well the reason I did was because I somehow got a drop of water that streamed all cross 5 pages of my book, for fun reading and not class. So after my water fail, I put my book under my busted laptop and said 'eh what the heck' and thus the blog was created on the 4th day.
